I've never heard of drawing salve. Pharmacy product? 2 dermatologists, maybe 7 prescriptions, plus cortisone sticks into the bumps...still no real improvement. I just read advice on quite a few sites and want to start something yesterday.
yes drawing salve i got it on Amazon about$10 but i'm sure it's in any pharmacy i used brand name Quret....I went through the same thing THIS WORKS I had the injections & an antibiotic script & perscription cream & every other over the counter gel cream etc.....nothing worked i used the whole 1 oz jar in about 3 days not washing my hair like i said above i'm confident they're gone because bumps came back that were not painful&had no liquid in it I'll keep posting almost 6 weeks no reoccurance (just the 2 occasions with no pain or bumps just like a normal cluster of blisters that were gone the next day) . check my condition above if it sounds like what you have try the drawing salve........

i don't know, i do know that putting anything topical on it did not work because the acne or bumps on my scalp were under my skin so i don't think anything i put on them ever reached them.....that's why i'm assuming the drawing salve worked .It drew the infection out.I know it's similiar to folliculitis because i thought that's what i had .I never got a clear diagnosis .I'm fairly sure this will help i'm sure your going through the same things i went through lots of cures & suggestions that never cleared it ....BTW they're still gone & every once in awhile i put some drawing salve on my scalp just in case, also the brand of drawing salve shouldn't matter but this one was not bad some of them smell really bad...... i'd wish you luck but luck has nothing to do with this thing it's a freakin aggressive, annoying, painful thing to have

No problem I really don't post but I felt I had to just reading how many people had this .I will keep checking in now that i know someone else is trying this...........if yours are painful(mine were) & you don't mind spending $10.50 I used this stuff called hurricaine i used the gel one,it's really made for toothaches it's not gonna help in the curing process but it gave me much needed relief I guess it also kept me from touching them ........that's important it's nearly impossible not to touch them but it speeds up the process (what i had spread really bad, very strange it never spread anywhere past the back of my scalp but everything about this was weird) .....if possible post your results i'm curious to see if it helps your condition... I get pimples on my head, mostly on top and in the back with white top, when popped, white pus comes out. This condition happens to me, when most of this below mentioned things happened together
1. Drinking too much alcohol
2. Using styling gel
3. Eating too many eggs
4. Using dirty pillow cover or bedsheet, not cleaned in 1 week.
5. Tension+very hot weather.

I did try the Quret a few months ago... I used it for a few weeks.. But I didn't lather it on as much as you said you did.
When I stopped..it was so so flskey back there.. But it DID work..but I noticed it slowly reoccured . And now seems to be like it was before.
So I just recently wanted to give it another go.. And am putting on the massive amounts that you said. I am just a little confused on your exact regimen with applying it for 2 days but not washing your hair a month?.. Not exactly sure what you mean by that.
I know your replies are really old.. But I hope you come across this and can reply..
What is strange . Is where I apply it.. It seems that it will move away from areas that I applied it.. The first time I applied it.. I noticed I even had some pop up further up my scalp just out of the area that I used the Quret.. So this time I'm just going to apply it further up than the normal area that is effected.(only back of scalp.. Around the base and usually up maybe 2"..and around the ligament that is in center/back of neck.
Hopefully it will work this time.. I've had a very similar experience when going to different derms as well.. Same ol' song with letting me try clindamycin, etc etc . And nothing has ever fixed it.
They kept claiming its because my hair is cut short back there.. But I've even tested it and hair has nothing to do with it. And of course typically when I go to the derm..its never as bad as it usually is.
